Do you have to be behind in paying to qualify for debt consolidation?

Also, can a revolving line of credit (it’s also a atm card) be included in a debt consolidation? And can I choose to leave out a loan or specific credit card where I have 0%?

You don’t have to be behind on your payments to sign up for one of these ripoff places.

Stay away. What they will do is not pay your creditors for months and then try and settle for less. No special skills. They just don’t pay. It will trash your credit.

Save the fees they charge and do it yourself.

Your creditors do not have to talk with these people. It’s your debt.

Also, if they don’t pay your creditors. You, and you alone are still responsible for the debt. Your creditors will sue you and not the company you hired.
