I have/had good credit, went ‘little’ overboard and now in US 0K in credit card debt, all of it invested in stock market which is now worth less than 10K. Even though I’m a professional and have a job,

To pay it all, it will take me 7 years if I were to just eat free air/water, sleep on the street, or at least 20 years by continuing my current life style.

Do I have any other options to get out of this mess?

File bankruptcy and then move to Canada, Europe or even run away to Montana leaving no change of address trail.

My husband has 000 in debts in Canada but because of a few reasons he had to move and he still has to pay his debts there which he hasnt been able to pay for 2 years, which is about the time he moved,because he isnt able to work until he finishes his army time this august. Is there a way that we would be able to pay off the money after so many years without paying from the country we live now to canada? would they still accept payment? could we wire the money over? what would happen if we wnt to canada for a visit without paying the debts first, would my husband get arrested or anything bad like that? Please help!
