Thinking about starting to trade in the stock market but only with small amounts to start out, somewhere around 100 to 300 dollars and was wondering if there are any good sites out there that would have minimal fees for such a small amount? I was referred to Scottrade, but told that this site is only good for thousands of dollars, and Sharebuilder as a good one for small trades.

What are your guys’s opinions? Any advice?

Mind you, this isn’t an investment thing, I am just doing htis in my free time to try to make a bit of extra money. I am not using money that I will need in the future, so don’t think I am going to go into debt or anything! Just figured this would be a better thing to do besides going to a casino and blowing my money.

I just kicked my wife out of the house. I owned the house before we got married. Anyway, we have been married for about 2 1/2 years and it’s been a really long 2 1/.2 years of fighting. We both have bad tempers, but she tends to go crazy when she gets mad by cutting my clothes or once she broke a 32 inch samsung lcd. Things have calmed down a bit but she has slowly and slowly become worse as a person. She doesn’t have her papers so she can’t drive or get a job yet, the papers are processing now. So she agreed a long time ago to take care of our son and be a housewife. However she has never stepped up to being one and it has gotten worse. She barely takes showers anymore, she doesn’t clean much more than 20 minutes a day some day more or less than others and spends much of her time on this website or watching tv. Dinner is never ready when I get home, which I don’t get home until around 8pm. Our sex life is cut in half.

We have both gone to counselors etc, nothing seems to work. She just seems miserable and wants me to be I guess.

The fight that led up to me kicking her out yesterday went like this:

I told her early in the week we had a bunch of things around the house to do. Sat she asked me to take her to her parents house and I said no. She told me than my firend who I bought (through trades) a monitor from could not come over that night to drop it off, further she said she would not help with doing the things around the house. I told her that none of us live here for free and if she won’t help, she needs to leave. I left the house.
Later she calls me and threatens to take away my son from me and says she will get a restraining order against me and will tell immigration I am mentally abusive to her so she can get her papers. We are talking about a woman who punched her stomach when she was preggy because she was mad at me. I then told her after that threat to please leave my house.

I also forgot to mention that she called the cops on me after I left because I wouldn’t give her 100 bucks. I told her no, I would only give money for our son for his things since she is going to live with her parents. We are very bad in debt and I am actually going to meet with a lawyer tomorrow to file bankruptcy.

And this is all because I would not take her to visit her parents which she seen 2 weeks beforehand….

Am I wrong in this guys? Am I an a-hole? I love her, but I don’t know what to do anymore.
And she is at her parents house right now. I am sure they have taken her out to the mall and bought her some clothes by now..They tend to do that. So money wise she is living with them and they will take care of her. Not like I will cancel my health insurance coverage on her or anything.
LOL yeah I guess I am lucky. We were having sex once or twice a week. Used to be 3 or 4 times…. Of course when we first got married it was 3 or 4 times a day. ahaha!

I am 21 and faced with so many decisions, especially financial decisions. I have college debt (I have not yet graduated), and I would like to pay off this debt eventually. I am being offered a car for free, but would have to pay insurance, which is more than public transportation, but a car will save me money if I end up selling it. I am thinking of investing, either an IRA account or doing regular trades, but I might also need my money if I lose my job or move. My money is just sitting in the bank. I am thinking of treating some scarring that is bothering me, but it is kind of expensive. I am considering seeing a doctor about my hair loss, but again, this is not cheap. I am trying to gain weight and get stronger, but that will cost money. I am thinking of joining the military so I can pay for college, get stronger, get health insurance, pay off my debt, learn new skills to put on my resume, and start a career, but I am opposed to what Bush is doing. So what do I do?
